Dan and I went to Life Cafe in SoHo, right in the middle of the mid-levels escalator. I got the Beetnik salad and Dan got the Life salad, and later the tofu (all pictured). Everything was just as good as it looks, quite vegan and gluten-free, including the dessert bar downstairs. Our salads and the tofu dish were about $13 each. Hong Kong appears to be do-able for vegan and GF-types, judging from what I’ve read here and here. They even have a pretty active “meat-free Hong Kong” meetup group.
I want to go to there.
Yeah, I was thinking about ya!
