Dan’s a friend from high school and a bassist for Cirque du Soleil. He dropped by Hong Kong for a 1-day visit between Taiwan and Greece. Here’s our interview about him being internationally nomadic for 3 years.
We crossed the water to Mong Kok and ate dim sum at Tim Ho Wan, which has great reviews. The butter-looking soup is actually pumpkin soup and it was A+. I’d eat there again but hoo-boy, was it crowded. Afterward, we walked around Mong Kok and researched cameras for a really long time. I showed one of the camera-store guys my camera and he asked if I’d stolen it from a museum.
