I love visiting Evelyn because she goes out and gets BREAKFAST TACOS from Wheatsville Co-op. After breakfast we finally occupied (well, a-third-occupied) unit #2081 with everything I own.  Then came back home to this sight:

I met Michael 7 years ago when I interviewed at McGarrah Jessee here in Austin. By this time of day I was not all that photogenic anymore. Clearly that wasn’t contagious. (Of course shades help…) And something very important was going on with people’s hands. I can’t quite recall, but it was unforgettable.

I know Corey from my Detroit job exactly 8 years ago. Just saw him for the first time since! He had to take a few work calls, but it was worth it for a FOUR HOUR LUNCH! (Or was it 5-hour…)

My paring-down process really started a year ago. After more consignment, craigslist, ebay and giving more stuff away than I would have EVER thought necessary, all my belongings have finally been whittled down to: And packed with near-jigsaw puzzle precision into my one-way rental: Now off to Austin (by way of Nashville, then Dallas.)
